The Cardano Record

measured on-chain, scored in public

The Cardano Record publishes short, data-only briefings on the Cardano blockchain — two most days, and one longer summary each week.

Every figure is computed from a local Cardano node and a full cardano-db-sync database. No third-party API is trusted for anything that reaches the screen, and each number is cross-checked against a second independent source before it airs. When a source is unavailable or a figure cannot be verified, the video says so rather than rounding the gap away.

What makes it different

Every episode logs one falsifiable claim

Each briefing ends with a single, specific, checkable claim — a named metric, a comparison and a resolution date. On that date the claim is scored automatically against the archived data, and the result is published whether it was right or wrong. Claims that cannot be resolved are marked void and shown as void. The running record, including the misses, appears in every weekly episode.

The full Indigo loan book, not the public slice

Indigo Protocol's public API exposes only its newest set of collateralised debt positions. The complete book is reconstructed here by decoding the lending validator's on-chain datums directly, then reconciled against chain-wide mint history before anything is reported. That is what makes the liquidation-cascade segment possible.

Uncertainty is stated, not hidden

Hit rates are reported alongside a confidence floor, because a good record over a small number of claims does not mean much and pretending otherwise would defeat the point.

About the predictions

This channel does make predictions — one per episode, on the record. What makes them different from the usual is not restraint, it is consequence: every prediction is falsifiable, dated, logged before the fact, resolved automatically against archived data, and published whether it was right or wrong. The misses stay on the scoreboard next to the hits.

A prediction may turn out wrong. It may never be unfounded — every number used is traceable to that episode's published data.

What it is not

None of this is financial advice. There are no recommendations to buy, sell or hold anything, no positions, and no trading signals. Nothing here should be relied upon for investment decisions, and the operator is not affiliated with the Cardano Foundation, Input Output, Intersect, Indigo Protocol, Midnight, or any project covered.

Corrections

Errors are corrected on the record. If you find a wrong number, raise it on the relevant video and it will be addressed in a later episode rather than quietly edited away.
